Sporttag-App Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sporttag-App ("App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Purpose and Data Usage

• Sporttag-App collects and processes data for optimizing the user experience, enchancing the sports day result management system and for research in the sport sector based in Switzerland.
• All data used for research is anonymized, no names will be published.
• An organizer can make results public with student names if they want to. Access to these results is protected with an access code.
• Results can be shared with guest users by an organizer. These guest users are invited over a link to edit results in the App.
• Schools may choose to share their average sports day results. Opting out means they cannot access other schools' average results.
• Schools may also choose to share their school records. This is entirely optional.

3. Data Protection and Security

• Data from students, including children, is collected and processed securely and in compliance with Swiss data protection laws.
• Sporttag-App provides a platform for schools to collect and manage sports day data. Schools are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary parental or legal guardian consent when collecting data from minors.
• Data is stored on secure servers with restricted access.
• Only authorized personnel will have access to the data for necessary purposes.

4. User Responsibilities

• The App is designed for managing sports day results and related activities.
• Organizers are responsible for obtaining appropriate permissions from participants and guardians.
• Organizers must ensure the secure handling of access codes for result viewing.
• Misuse of the App, including unauthorized access, data manipulation, or harmful activities, is strictly prohibited.

5. Marketing and Publicity

• By using the App, organizers agree that Sporttag-App may use the school's name and logo for marketing purposes.
• Schools may contact us at any time to opt out of this feature.

6. Data Rights and Requests

• Users have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data.
• Requests can be made by contacting our support team.

7. Liability

• Sporttag-App is not responsible for any inaccuracies in the data entered by users.
• Sporttag-App is not responsible for any damages or inconveniences as a result of the usage of the App.
• Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information submitted.

8. Intellectual Property

• All content, software, and services provided within the App are the property of Sporttag-App.
• Users may not copy, distribute, or modify the App without written consent.

9. Termination

• Sporttag-App reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate this Agreement or misuse the App.
• Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting support.

10. Refund Policy

• If you are not satisfied with the Sporttag-App, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.
• Refunds will only be granted if there is a demonstrable issue with the App or if the service provided does not meet reasonable expectations.
• To request a refund, please contact our support team at info@sporttag-app.com with your account details and the reason for your request.
• Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction due to factors beyond our control, such as misuse or failure to comply with the Agreement.
• Refunds are processed using the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days.
• Sporttag-App reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of misuse, fraud, or breach of this Agreement.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by Swiss law.
• Disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Swiss courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
